If it becomes necessary, a member of the Board of Trustees is authorized to enforce pool and safety rules and to verbally order rules violators or unauthorized personnel off of Landings Racquet & Swim Club property. All activity in the pool area is video recorded and anyone identified violating rules or damaging property will be subject to revocation of pool privileges and/or criminal prosecution. During a hazardous weather situation, swimmers will depart the swimming pool and not re-enter until at least 30 minutes have lapsed since the last sign of thunder or lightning. Pool and safety rules will remain valid, children should not use the pool without adult supervision, and adults should not swim alone. During these occasions, residents and guests will still be required to sign in with an authorized pool pass in their possession and will swim at their own risk. There will be occasions when the Landings Racquet & Swim Club Board of Trustees allows The Landings pool to be open during normal pool hours without a lifeguard on duty in the event Hastings Water Works is unable to provide a lifeguard. A lifeguard is provided for continuous safety, except in the baby pool where parents are required to serve as guardians for their own children. ![]() Hastings Water Works is contracted out to operate, maintain, and monitor the pool. If the clubhouse is being rented, park in the parking lots adjacent to the back of the Landings Shopping Plaza. Parking: Park in the designated areas marked in yellow in the image below (CLICK image to open for better view). The large pool ranges from 3 to 8.5 feet in depth and the baby pool ranges from a few inches to about 1 1/2 feet in depth. When The Landings pool is open, come enjoy a relaxing or exhilerating swim on a hot summer day in our large outdoor pool! A baby pool is also provided for toddlers and babies. If you have been reissued a new pool pass, be sure to destroy the old one should you find it at a later date-it will no longer be valid for use at the pool. To replace a lost or damaged pool pass, CLICK the "Contact" tab above and follow the instructions. New residents who move in should contact their designated home or condo owners' association if they do not find a pool pass in their residence upon moving in. The pool pass should be left in the residence when moving out. Each authorized residence has been issued one pool pass to be shared by members of the residence. Residents may legibly sign in guests with a valid pool pass per guidelines contained the POOL RULES. A residential pool pass contains a unique authorization number on the back and is valid indefinitely as long as the residence owner's association fees remain in good standing and members of the residence don't commit repeated or serious pool rule violations. Inclement weather, air temperatures below 69 degrees Fahrenheit, mechanical failures, or unexpected absence of a lifeguard are reasons the pool could close for a day or partial day.
